The goal of the group is for expecting, new and existing moms (with children under age 5) to meet for events, share information and build relationships. These moms could be stay at home women or working ladies who want to meet other people with shared interests.

Lets have fun meeting families around the area! For children ranging from birth to 6 years. Let's get together for activities such as the zoo, parks, picnics, festivals, and much much more! Also includes MNO and family dinners. Great for both working moms and SAHM. Significant others welcome as well! Many meetups will be posted each week, with many weekend events and evening weekend events.

This is a group for moms (and dads) interested in getting out of their houses and talking to other grown-ups. I'm a new parent, but I'm also new to Michigan, and making new friends has been tough. I have to believe I'm not alone in my quest to meet interesting people. There are fun events going all the time in and around Detroit (I know because I get weekly emails from Yelp and Metro Parent). This group is designed for moms with young children in the Fairlawn, Bath, and Akron area. We will schedule themed, educational, and active play dates around town for moms and tots as well as have a few "Mom's night out" events. My family just moved here from Florida, and we are excited to meet some new friends to play with! I am also hoping to find a couple organizers to help me get our meet up group up and running.
